We do have one tradition however that you should be aware of.
For every member that plays a principal role in the Pantomime for the first time - you WILL be christened after the final performance, with just a dash of beer.

This is a very long standing PVADS tradition, pointless, silly and irrelevant it may be, it may even ruin your hairdo - but please know that it WILL happen, and is meant in the best possible way, look at it as a kind of 'congratulation' on your first principal panto role.

If that doesn't help to make you feel better about the event, then for all new panto principals these days, think yourselves lucky - it's now just a dash of beer -
it used to be a WHOLE PINT!!
