Steve has been on the stage since the age of 6 when his first role was playing the part of Oliver in a summer variety show. He then appeared in many pantomimes in roles such as Buttons and many other village idiots (some may say typecast!) for his previous Amateur Dramatics Society. He studied Drama as a GCSE for two years at St. John's School in Marlborough, and has also appeared in a radio drama, "Folicles", on the local BBC station as PC Benny. Steve joined PVADS in March 2005, first helping the lighting crew in the play "Albert Make Us Laugh". Since then, he has been involved in all other PVADS productions, appearing in two variety shows, playing Ben in "A Dog's Life" with PVADS on Tour, the German Electrician in "Black Comedy" and Humpy the Camel in PVADS 2006 Panto. For PVADS' latest production, "Noises Off", he turned his hand to the role of Sound engineer. Steve hopes to be in more PVADS productions in the future.
