SEPTEMBER 2003
AUDITIONS - Panto 2004 - AUDITIONS
Chorus & Juniors: Bouverie
Hall, 7:00pm on Sunday 5th October.
In the audition, you will be taught and must perform a short dance routine
and you must sing in a group (no solos for chorus members).
Principal Roles: Bouverie Hall, 7:30pm on Monday 6th October.
You will be asked to read excerpts from the script (everyone sitting in a
circle). All principals are liable to sing a solo or a duet in the show so
you will be asked to sing a solo during the audition (choice of two songs).
Please note that PVADS Panto Auditions are Open to All Comers.
This show is currently in
a "rest" period due to work on the Feast Ball and the Carnival Float. However,
don't forget that rehearsals start again in earnest on Sunday 28th September.
There will be only seven more rehearsals for this show and every one is very
important. Work on the sets is well advanced but there is still much to do.
Anyone interested in helping paint the sets (the design has been marked out
by Noel Hardy), can contact Colin Harris (07971960517) or Andy Vowles (01672
563987). It only takes one phone call and you'll be part of the team and have
your name in the programme.
Carnival
Float - Help Still Needed
All those able and willing
to paint should turn up at the Coopers Field (wearing appropriate clothing)
on Sunday 14th September at 10:00am and take instructions from floatmaster
Mark Spanswick .
