SEPTEMBER 2002
If you can help, please go to the Cooper's Field on Saturdays where Mark Spanswick and Colin Harris will be delighted to put you to work.
Tickets went on sale on Saturday 31st August and within the first hour, over 100 tickets were sold for the last night. There are plenty of seats available for the first two performances so get your orders in quick. Don't forget to recommend the show to your friends - PVADS relies on ticket sales as the sole source of revenue. The last two performances include a meal as usual, but the first performance (Sat 14th Sep) does not. It's fine for people to bring a picnic, but drinks must be purchased from the bar.
We are short of voluntary waiting staff for all three performances (Sat 14th, Fri 27th & Sat 28th Sep). If you are able to help on any of the nights, please contact Tiggy Holmes on (01672) 563 735.
Simone has worked long and hard on the new PVADS website and it is currently undergoing final testing before being launched. Simone has done a really good job despite a number of technical setbacks and the new site is very impressive. Watch out for the launch.
The Nutcracker Bristol Hippodrome, 17th October
I was unable to obtain tickets for the December performance in London, but I have obtained tickets for exactly the same show in Bristol on Thursday 17th October.
A small number of tickets is still available, at £34.00 each (including cost of coach from Pewsey, via Marlborough). If you're interested call me on 01672 563987.
