Review for Panto 2006
- 1001 Arabian Nights
Review by Nettie
Well done to all involved with the Pantomime. The show was overall very
entertaining. Special mention must go to both Alex and Vicky who choreographed
the dancing - the UV skeleton dance was very innovative - all the chorus
performed well - I would have liked to see more of them.
Star of the show for me was Tania Borg - she was raunchy, blasted out her
song with skill and gusto and filled the stage with her enthusiastic portrayal
of the man starved genie!
John Lavis pulled a few new characterizations out of the bag - the 'hairdresser'
was particularly inspired!
Again it is so refreshing to see a 'traditional' pantomime aimed predominantly
at children - keep up the good work! Thank you, audience, for your support.
