Paul joined PVADS in 1988 mainly due to harrassing the cast of the previous Tavern! He was told he had so much to say he may as well be in the show and thus he became a regular on our stage. Since 1988 he has appeared in the majority of Taverns and six pantomimes, playing roles such as Dame, Ugly Sister and a hilarious French Knight in 'The Adventures of King Arthur' in 2000. Plays are a new venture for Paul, but he has taken to them like a 'duck to water', appearing in Albert Make Us Laugh, Black Comedy and our current production Noises Off. His favourite parts are the comedy roles, he'll do anything to get a laugh! He has also enjoyed compering our Taverns in recent years. He co-produced a successful Tavern in 1999 along with Colin Harris and Simone Lay, and will be producing 2006's Tavern with John Lavis. His claim to fame is that he "once stood behing Penelope Wilton in a queue at the Co-op". Impressive eh?!
