OUR SOCIETY.. Info on our Society
PVADS has been running now for over 75 years
and has approximately 60 paid up members.

Of course not all of our members spend their time on the stage, we have many who only ever work backstage, help with our catering and, of course, our musicians, set designers and costume makers!

Check out the MAP to find us

Our annual ACTING MEMBERSHIP FEE is;
£14.00 for adults (16yrs +) and £7.00 for juniors (10-15yrs)

10yrs is the minimum age to be a member of PVADS. It is up to the Committee to grant special permission for anyone younger to take part in a show.

For those not acting, but wishing to remain members of PVADS, so that you continue to receive our Newsletters etc, it is now a requirement that you 'opt-in'.

Play in April

Tavern In The Town OR The Feaste Ball (September)

Musical (October)

SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
It means we will now either perform Tavern OR a Musical
- we will no longer produce both in the same year.

For example, when it is a Musical year we will not be performing Tavern, instead we will host The Feaste Ball on, what would have been, the first Saturday of Tavern.
This is a venture primarily decided upon to free up our members who are involved in almost all of our shows;
to give us more time for rehearals when it is a musical year;
to give Tavern a breather; to reinstate a favourite event (The Feaste Ball)
and, finally, to let us all have a little 'rest' every now and again!
