OCTOBER 2005

Simply Theatre - October 27/28/29th

Congratulations to Nettie and Martin for putting together another fantastic evening's entertainment.

The audience very much enjoyed the concept of 'supper theatre' as well as a varied evening of plays. We had many very positive comments from the audience.

The youth theatre's production 'Time and Rosemary' was well received, the funny historical theme appealed to everyone. "Delightfully silly", "wonderful set" .

'The Walking Dead' received mixed reviews - the quality of the acting was very good but the plot was open to question - "should be billed as comedy horror", "really scary", "we don't agree with Halloween" were some of the comments.

The final play 'Black Comedy' was a triumph. It took the audience some time to get used to the concept of reversal of light and dark but the absolute brilliance of the performances from all the cast ensured a roaring reception from the audience. "Brilliant", "fantastic" "the funniest play", "as good as the West End" "the standard of all the performances was very professional"

Full list of reviews are on the website - please add your own comments if you came via the Guestbook - if you didn't come you missed a treat!
