PVADS will once again be entering a float for this years Carnival procession.
Following on from last years fantastic "Super Heroes" theme we want to pull
together a fun and fresh idea. Therefore if anybody has any ideas on what
theme we could build on, or if anyone fancies being involved either as the
project organiser, participating on the float, or helping on the evening then
please contact me at bradleypharris@tiscali.co.uk .
Once again we will be putting
on our variety "Tavern" show this year for carnival, during the month of September.
In advance of this we are running 2 evenings where anyone who has a good idea
for a comedy sketch, song, dance routine, monologue or short play can come
along and discuss it.
Open to all people over 16, the 1st ideas night will be on Tuesday the 13th
of May, followed up 2 weeks later on the 27th of May with a meeting to firm
up the actual content. Both Meetings to be held in the "Royal Oak" in Pewsey
at 8pm.
You do not have to be a member to pitch your ideas, so please come along and
take part.
We are still running our competition
to revamp our logo and want to remind people to let us have any ideas on how
you see our new logo. What does PVADS mean to you, and how would represent
that in a new logo? Just commit your design to paper or computer, and send
with details of your Name, Address, Phone Number and Age (if under 18) to:

Closing date is the 13th of June 2008 so start getting creative!
