Tavern 2004 Ideas
Nights
Royal Oak @ 7:30pm Tuesday
18th May & Wednesday 19th May Darren
Little is directing and Emma Drinnan and Rachel Veale are choreographing the
show.
All those interested in participating or contributing to Tavern in any way
at all, or those who are simply curious, are all invited to attend either
or both these sessions at the Royal Oak.
Darren is looking for practical help
and support with the production, so if you are interested in that side of
things, now's your chance to do something about it.
Junior Production Fri/Sat,
15/16 October
Junior Auditions
Sundays 6th and 13th June
- 5pm in the Bouverie Hall
We want everyone who is interested
to come along, not just those hoping for a part on stage.
It's not yet set in stone but current thinking is along the lines of two or
three 1-Act plays to ensure as many as possible get a chance on-stage if they
want it.
This is an excellent idea - it's many years since we did Bugsy Malone and
hopefully we'll get a lot of new members as a result (catch 'em young ).
Now that we have a permanent
trailer, we can start preparations earlier. The cables for the lights are
still in place from last year, which saves an enormous amount of work in getting
ready.
Thanks to recent acquisitions of sound equipment we now have a set of kit
for the trailer that is completely separate from the kit used in the hall.
This makes life much easier and is safer too.
The latest acquisition is a set of wheels for the trailer, which are now in
situ in the Coopers field. This makes the PVADS Carnival Float completely
independent.
All those interested in developing and or manning the float for the procession,
should make their interest known to any committee member.
