AGM This year's AGM will be held upstairs in the Royal Oak, Pewsey at 8:00pm on Tuesday 1st April 2003.
One-Act Play Festival
You may have seen on the front page of the Gazette and Herald, that PVADS
brought away two awards and two further nominations from the festival. Martin
Clifton collected the Matthew Herring Award for high attainment in the area
of technical theatre and stage craft, while Andy Vowles collected the Lester
Trophy for best adult actor in a supporting role. Darren Little was short
listed for the Lester Trophy and Corinna Cuff was short listed for the Beryldene
Hunt Cup for the best performance by a junior.
Panto: Mother Goose
The final bills have all been paid to reveal that the panto was very
successful financially as in all other respects. Well done to all involved.

The Wizard of Oz comes to Pewsey
The audition was very well attended with 38 people turning up on the Sunday
afternoon. The show is fully cast and we have an orchestra too, with many
new faces. June and Tiggy are providing rehearsal schedules to all involved
and details can be found on the website.
Miss Saigon
It's this week ! Will all those taking the coach please be at the Bouverie
Hall car park for 5:15pm on Thursday 20th.
Spring Play
At the time of writing, Martin has held two rounds of auditions. There
were three different plays under consideration: two comedies by Derek Benfield
and Ray Cooney respectively, and a Thriller by Peter Colley. We all wait to
hear which one has been selected and who is in the cast.
Feaste Ball
This is shaping up to be an excellent Carnival event. Darren Little has
taken on the organisation of the entertainment and we wish him well with his
first major production for PVADS. There are many PVADS people that he can
call on to help and to perform as necessary.
