JUNE 2007
The musical Hello Dolly has been cancelled. This decision was made by the
Committee and the Producers after a full and lengthy discussion.
There were three main issues as to why it should not go ahead and after months
of trying to resolve them by all of the production team, it was then felt
that it should no longer carry on before any more time effort and money was
put into it.
New PVADS and Committee Member
Emma Harris has won a national award in the Breathing Life awards. The awards
ceremony is held every year to recognize outstanding achievement made by people
who suffer from cystic fibrosis. Emma was nominated for her work towards the
Live Life and Give Life campaign, a charity she set up with a friend who also
suffers from cystic fibrosis. The awards took place in a top London Hotel
and were presented by Claire Sweeney and Dr. David Bull. Emma was presented
with her award by garden expert Charlie Dimmock and explorer Alan Hinks.
Congratulations
Emma from everyone at PVADS.
