PVADS on Tour-
Easton Royal- Sat 24th June
Several of our members will be staging an evening performance of plays and
sketches at Easton Royal Village Hall on Saturday 24th June at 7.30pm.
The 2 one act plays are 'Sense of the Ridiculous' by Rae Terence - a Drama
and 'Albert' by Richard Harris - a Comedy. Tickets are £6 to include wine
and cheese and are available from Hew and Beverley Helps on 01672 810656.
Tavern
Rehearsals are well under way for this years Viva Las Tavern. There is still
an opportunity for budding script writers to put forward their ideas. Contact

Youth
Theatre Summer School 14th-18th Aug
The Drama Week is now fully
subscribed. I do have a waiting list if you are interested. There may be last
minute vacancies so please contact me and I will endeavour to include you

Bouverie Hall.
An evening of energetic entertainment brought to you by the youth of Pewsey
Vale - songs, music, jokes, dance and drama ….not to mention the burnt cakes
and tea!! This is a completely original show scripted and directed by Nettie
Powell - do come along and support us. Tickets are only £3.

notice - 'Our Day Out'
Auditions
for this musical play will be held in the Bouverie Hall at 2.30pm on Sunday
2nd July. There are 10 principal roles and up to 25 chorus parts.
Play synopsis:- a group of Liverpudlian remedial class children go on a school
trip to Conway Castle via the zoo, the beach and the fair. The play centres
on the interaction between the teachers and the unruly children and their
developing relationships. There is humour and pathos - a real must!
I am also looking for musicians to play on some of the numbers. Please contact
me asap if you can play drums, guitar or flute.
Rehearsals will be on most Sunday afternoons from July and afternoon rehearsals
in the Bouverie Hall on Aug 21st - 23rd, 29th, 30h and you must be able to
attend each day during October half term (22nd to 25th ). Performances are
26th to 28th Oct at 7.30pm.
Auditions will involve some script reading and group singing and a workshop
style improvisation. Principals will be asked to sing solo piece. Contact

July at 2.30pm if you are unable to attend the main audition.
