PVADS on Tour-
Easton Royal- Sat 24th June
A small troupe of actors provided an evenings entertainment at the end of
June to help raise funds for Easton Royal village hall. The evening was a
great success with both audience and cast enjoying the intimate atmosphere
this venue offers. Do come and support PVADS on tour - we have new and varied
repertoires for each performance and this is opportunity to see vibrant and
edgy plays, monologues, songs and sketches that will not always be staged
at the Bouverie Hall.
Remember
to put dates in your diary for 'Viva las Tavern'. Rehearsals are going well
with a strong and young cast of dancers in the chorus. Tickets are £11 and
will be on sale from 1st September at the Bouverie Hall box office..
All the behind the scenes
work has nearly been completed ready to take 28 youngsters through their paces
during the drama week.
There will be lots of original sketches (based loosely on the King Alfred
theme), drama, dance, songs, music and stage fighting. Darren Little and Alex
Cuff are helping this year and it promises to be another storming performance.

in advance. Props request:- if anyone has any plastic swords /shields /Viking
helmets /chain mail to loan for the week (we have a Battle of Edington to
stage!) Please could they contact me.
Unfortunately we will not be entering a carnival float this year as some of
our key supporters in building and manning the float have other commitments.
We will be looking for new teams to organise this next year - if you are interested
please contact a member of the committee.
