JULY 2001
Tiggy
has had her knee operation and is definitely back in control.
Welcome back Tiggy, rehearsals aren’t quite the same without you.
Rehearsals
are going well and the chorus numbers are really taking shape. We just need
to see some of the individual acts now.
Cast members are reminded that accepting a place in the show implies a commitment to turn up at rehearsals.
It’s understood there will be times when you can’t make it, but please get a message to Tiggy or Colin, or to another cast member who can pas the message on.
This
production is now in it’s dormant phase until rehearsals re-start after Tavern,
at the end of September.
Cast
are reminded that since there are so few rehearsals left, they must know all
their words by the time we restart in September.
I already know all my words (but I
always was a smart ass !).
The
scenery for both Tavern and Carousel are very nearly complete thanks to the
efforts of Noel Hardy and Marilyn Day and their helpers.
Both Noel and Marilyn are unavailable for some weeks so there will a slow down in further progress until one of them comes back.
The
next show will be Chicago, in the Adelphi Theatre London, on Thursday 1st
November.
The performance we will see should feature both Denise van Outen and
Alison Moyet.
The
trip is open to all comers – you don’t need to be a member of PVADS.
Ticket price is £32.00 each (no concessions), which includes the return
coach trip from Pewsey (stop in Marlborough is available).
The coach will leave the Bouverie Hall car park at 4:30.
I must pay the Theatre by 1 August, so please confirm ASAP if you are interested, and let me have the ticket money no later than Tuesday 31st of July.
