One Act Play Festival
Rehearsals are in full swing
for the festival plays. Our Youth play 'Time and Rosemary' will be performed
on Friday 24th Feb and 'Tippers' the adult entry on Saturday 25th.

We will be holding an open dress rehearsal on Sunday 19th Feb at 7.30pm in
the hall and would value your critique of the plays.
There was a good turn out
for the auditions and we have a strong cast for Noises Off. We do however
have a huge task in building a 2 tier set. If anyone is interested in helping
with the build please contact either Martin (810436) or Nettie (562248).
In preparation for our AGM
in April we would like to receive nominations for new committee members as
we have a few very old (as in length of service!) members who will stand down
this year.
You do not need any qualifications for this - just bags of enthusiasm and
an interest in pushing PVADS to the forefront of our community. Contact June

We desperately need someone
to help Robert Bottoms on the lighting desk with a view to becoming the PVADS
on Tour technician. If you are interested in learning a new skill and have
some technical capabilities please contact Martin on 810436.
John Lavis and Paul Hornbogen
are directing this years Tavern - if you are interested in script writing/
dancing or performing, please let them know.
Due to changes in the data
laws we have to review our newsletter/contact list policies.
It is now required that people opt in to any communication from the society.
In order to comply with the law we will be introducing as of April 2006 an
'Associate Member' status for PVADS.
For the cost of £5 per annum you will receive our monthly newsletter, with
the additional benefit of priority booking and special offers on tickets.
Acting members will continue to receive audition notices and newsletters within
their £10 subscription fee.
