Well has been all go since my arrival in WA. After recovering from my hangover on Thursday i went and explored Perth city centre (VERY different to Sydney).

Friday i went to Freemantle with some girls from the hostel and we had a wander round and then had a nice lunch on "Cappucino strip", and bumped into a woman who was a regular at the cafe in Sydney but was on a weeks holiday in Perth - god am such a local, i know someone everywhere i go!! We then went out for a few pints and a bop on friday night before an early start on Saturday morning...

Saturday, headed south, went to Dawesville, Bunbury, Busselton and Meelup Bay. Then went on a cave tour at Ngilgi Cave which was really good before heading off to Yallingup, Canal Rocks and then the famous surfing spot in Margaret river - sadly (not sure if you heard over yonder) this is where a surfer was killed by a shark a couple of weeks ago so funnily enough i stayed out the water! Spent Saturday night in a hostel at Margaret River and yet again had to clamber up to the top bunk after downing a few beverages in the local "tavern". Sunday, went to Cape Leeuwin, Augusta (which is where the Indian and Southern oceans meet, i'll have you know!) then to Pemberton and on to climb the 'Gloucester tree' which is an old fire lookout and 61 metres high - i managed to climb about 2 metres - well done me, big pat on the back for that one i think! Then on to the Valley of the Giants, which i thought sounded very scary but is in fact just VERY tall trees! and we did the tree top walk which is a bridge that you can go over which goes about 40 metres above the ground and sways a lot (in all fairness though i have been doing this a lot recently due to high alcohol content so seemed quite normal!). Next stop Green Pool in William Bay and then to Elephant Rocks (you would love it mum - massive rocks that look just like hefalumps!) was then off through Denmark before staying (and drinking - shock horror) in Albany. All the villages are very small and quiet but beautiful (kinda remind me of a horror film in that whole doesn't appear quite real kinda way). Today we went to some Blowholes which were really good, Gap and Natural bridge and Middleton Beach. And finally to Mt Barker to taste some nice South west wine - hic - before heading back to Perth and phew am now back in hostel in Perth getting ready to go out tonight..........impressive or what?!

Has been a really good few days, have met some wicked people and had lots and lots of fun. Have an interview with an agency tomorrow who supplies barmaids to Road houses so watch this space.............

Hope you are all really really well, missing you still but as you probably gathered, having a great time and exploring lots!! With oodles and oodles of love Ceej xxxxx

P.S Colin: Congratulations grandad! xxx
