PVADS on Tour and One Act
Play Festival
We are again entering 2 plays
into the Swindon Arts Centre One Act Play Festival from 23rd to 25th February
which we will also be performing at Wootton Rivers Village Hall on Sat 11th
February (tbc).
The 2 plays chosen are a Youth Production 'Time and Rosemary' by Rena Pope
and 'Tippers' by Gillian Plowman, both of which we have performed in front
of our 'home' audience. This should hopefully give us an edge for the competition
performances.
We would be grateful for additional back stage crew for the adult play which
we hope to enhance with some technical wizardry and any Juniors interested
in small cameo roles in the Youth play. Please call either Martin (810436)
or Nettie (562248)
Spring Play - Noises Off!
N.B. Audtion and Performance
Dates have changed
- see 'Current Show' Page
Now here is a date to definitely
put in your diary - after 3 years of trying to get a license to perform the
famous 'Noises Off' by Michael Frayn we can now announce that we will be producing
this play for your enjoyment from Wed 3rd to Sat 6th May.
It is side splittingly funny and very technically demanding.
AUDITIONS will be held on Sunday 12th February at the Bouverie Hall
at 6pm. Please contact either Martin (810436) or Nettie (562248) to register
your interest.
PVADS skittle alley managed
to raise £32 for Prospect Hospice at the Pewsey Christmas Fayre. Thanks to
all involved..
