NEWSLETTER Monthly News & Info
As you know, this is a big
change from our usual Tavern, and is much more expensive to produce (the band
alone is costing over £800 pounds). This event is one night only, and we have
a target to sell 150 tickets in order to cover all the costs. All members
of PVADS, are asked to help promote the show. If everyone who receives this
newsletter persuades one other person to buy a ticket, we will already be
close to our target of 150 tickets. Tickets can be obtained from any committee
member. They went on sale on Monday 11th August and the first ones have already
been sold - we are on our way!
Help Needed The float is
in the Coopers Field, and working parties have been organised as shown below.
The main requirement is painting, so put on your old clothes and join Floatmaster

We have a director/producer.
In fact we have a small team comprised of Alec Clapperton and Andy Vowles.
The script will be chosen within the coming weeks and we aim to audition,
award parts and issue scripts within the month of September. Negotiations
are underway with the Wizard of Oz team to find a suitable date for the auditions,
so watch for further announcements. PVADS Panto Auditions are Open to All
