Audition notice - 'Our Day Out'

Calling all talented youths (10+)!!!

Auditions for this funny and emotional musical play will be held in the Bouverie Hall at 2.30pm on Sunday 2nd July.

There are 10 principal roles and up to 25 chorus parts in Mrs Kay's progress class. The action takes place on a school trip from inner city Liverpool to Conway Castle with stops at a café, a zoo, a fair and the beach on the way. The kids get up to all manner of mischief much to the annoyance of strict Mr Briggs.

The musical numbers are simple and I've already booked a 'speech coach' to help us with our Liverpudlian accents!! Rehearsals will be on most Sunday afternoons from July with pm rehearsals 21st - 23rd , 29th,30th Aug and you must be able to attend each day during October half term.

Auditions will involve some script reading and singing and a workshop style improvisation. Principals will be asked to sing solo piece.
