APRIL 2002
There is plenty of time to see our Spring Play for this year. It’s a modern farce and is very funny (I have to say that as I’m in it!). As you will know, we have suffered from declining attendance at our Spring events, and we would like to reverse the trend this year, so do please come - and bring some friends too.
With Nick
Mitchell-Briggs confirmed as publicity officer, we can look forward to a number
of initiatives designed to raise the profile both of individual shows and
of the society in general.
As a first shot in the campaign, Pete Bond delivered a talk on PVADS to the Pewsey Historical Society on Wednesday 10/4/2. The reason is that PVADS, with a 72 year history is very much part of the life and tradition of the village. As a direct result of Pete’s talk, we have been invited to submit material to Pewsey Heritage Centre, that will form a standing exhibition for next year (this year’s standing exhibition is Pewsey Hospital). Well done Pete
There
was a good turnout in the Royal Oak on 9/4/02.
The
