Nettie has been involved with PVADS since she moved to Pewsey 7 years ago. Her first role for us was as chorus in the Pantomime 'Babes in the Wood' and she has since gone on to play many parts in both One Act plays, PVADS on Tour and Spring plays. Over the last 3 years she has taken very active roles as a Committee Member, publicity, set design and also the task of directing and/or producing most of our recent plays. Two years ago Nettie reformed the PVADS Youth Theatre which currently has nearly 60 members registered. Under her direction the Youth Theatre have won the Harold Joliffe One Act play festival 2 years running and have staged the 'Night and Day' production and 'Junior Tavern'. She is currently planning another week long drama workshop this summer and a big musical play for the Youth Theatre in October. Her greatest achievements are all the successes with the Youth Theatre and directing and playing the role of Enid in 'Albert Make us Laugh'.
